South Bermondsey Homesick Blues tells the story of Millwall’s journey through the final five years of the 1990s and, as usual, it was an eventful one. From title hopes to relegation disaster, almost going out of business altogether and employing an arch rival’s legendary player as manager, to the realisation of another Millwall fan’s dream: appearing at Wembley.
Once again Millwall managed to cram into a few years what most other football fans experience in a lifetime of following their team.
